Plans and billing
MarginMeter Free, Starter and Pro plans: limits, history, sync frequency, how upgrades and downgrades work, and what happens if a payment fails.
Each workspace has its own plan. Billing is handled by Stripe; the workspace owner can change plans in Settings → Billing.

Downgrades never delete data
- Extra connections beyond the new limit are paused, not deleted. Choose which stay active on the Connections page.
- History beyond the new limit is hidden immediately and purged after 30 days, so upgrading again within that window restores it.
- Existing members, alert rules and manual costs keep working; you can't add new ones above the limit.
Failed payments
If a renewal fails, Stripe retries automatically and owners get an email. Paid features stay on through a grace period; if payment still fails, the workspace moves to Free with the rules above.
