Revenue tools ignore cost
MRR dashboards stop at the top line. They can’t tell you that your newest model doubled the cost of every request.
Cloud tools ignore revenue
FinOps reports show a bigger bill — not whether you grew into it or are quietly losing money on each customer.
MarginMeter connects both
Stripe revenue next to AI, cloud and payment costs, every day. One number to watch, and the reasons it moves.

Honest numbers
Every figure shows where it came from
Provider-reported, calculated, estimated or manual — each metric carries its lineage and confidence. Incomplete days are marked, never mistaken for a drop. Deterministic code calculates everything; AI never invents a number.

Frequently asked questions
What does MarginMeter actually measure?
Revenue from Stripe (net of refunds, disputes and tax), cost of goods sold from your providers (AI APIs, cloud, hosting, payment fees and any manual costs you add), and the gross profit and gross margin that result — daily, by provider and by category.
Which integrations are supported?
Stripe for revenue; AWS (Cost Explorer), OpenAI and Anthropic for costs; Vercel; plus manual costs for anything else (e.g. Supabase, Sentry, email providers).
Is my data safe?
Connections are read-only. Credentials are encrypted with AWS KMS envelope encryption and only decrypted inside background workers. AWS uses a cross-account IAM role with an external ID — no access keys. Every workspace is isolated with PostgreSQL row-level security.
How is this different from ChartMogul or Baremetrics?
Revenue analytics tools stop at MRR. MarginMeter connects revenue to what it costs to serve it, so you see gross margin and which provider is moving it.
How is this different from cloud FinOps tools?
FinOps tools report spend, but not against revenue. MarginMeter puts AI, cloud and payment costs next to Stripe revenue, so a cost spike reads as a margin change, not just a bigger bill.
Do you use AI to calculate my numbers?
No. Every amount, margin and alert is calculated by deterministic code from provider data, with lineage and confidence labels. AI is never used to invent figures.
How much does it cost?
Free for one workspace with two connections and 90 days of history. Starter is $10/month and Pro is $19/month per workspace, with yearly plans at two months free.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can export everything as CSV and delete a workspace or your account at any time; raw provider payloads are purged on a schedule.
