Terms of service

By creating an account or using MarginMeter you agree to these terms. If you use MarginMeter for an organization, you accept them on its behalf.

The service

MarginMeter reads data from services you connect and calculates financial metrics such as revenue, cost of goods sold, gross profit, gross margin and MRR. Figures are operational analytics, not accounting, tax or investment advice, and revenue is reported on a cash basis rather than under GAAP or IFRS.

Accounts and workspaces

You are responsible for your account credentials and for the people you invite to your workspaces. Workspace owners control members, connections, billing and deletion.

Plans and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance per workspace through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. If a payment fails, paid features continue during a grace period, after which the workspace moves to the Free plan. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.

Acceptable use

Do not connect accounts you are not authorized to access, attempt to access other workspaces, probe or disrupt the service, or use it in violation of law or of the terms of the providers you connect.

Your data

You own your data. You grant us the rights needed to host and process it to provide the service. You can export or delete it at any time. Our handling of personal data is described in the privacy policy and, for business customers, the data processing agreement.

Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Provider APIs may change or be unavailable, which can delay or limit data.

Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Termination

You may stop using MarginMeter at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms. On termination, data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.
